Kitchen Republic

A 12-week food business accelerator program

Are you ready to take your food business to the next level?

Then we are looking for you to join our first accelerator program.

We’re recruiting motivated food entrepreneurs who’ve prioritized sustainability in their business. Either you have already been operating for a year or less, or you’ve developed a prototype that you’ve been testing with a few trusted partners.

Producers, caterers, makers, farmers and online creatives with non- traditional food-focused concepts are welcome to apply!

How does the program work?

  • We’ll kick-off and get to know each other with a cycle tour featuring our hand-picked selection of Amsterdam food business stops.
  • Over 12 weeks, we’ll meet for a 4-hour workshop session that combines presentations and talks with industry experts with hands-on activities and group discussions.
  • You’ll have weekly project-based assignments and access to a private online forum for chatting with your fellow startups, plus ‘office hours’ for 1-on-1 chats with our program mentors.
  • Get 3 days access to our professional kitchen space and equipment to test your product and processes, including operational support.
  • Work with our culinary professionals to develop and fine-tune your recipe and plan for scale.
  • Complete the program with a pitch-day event where you’ll get to present to a panel of industry professionals and experts.

What will the program cover?

You’ll end with a finished product, tactical knowledge of the food industry, a clear vision of your goals and your first big buyers.

We begin by going deep into each of the essential elements that form your core offering: Starting with your core offering:

Starting with your Why, Knowing your Who; Perfecting your What; Outlining your How.

Next, we dig into the details you need to sharpen each point of your strategy:

Building your Brand; Building your Tribe; Building your Product; and Building your Business.

The program wraps up with a special “Mind of the Buyer” Q&A session. Before you focus on refining your materials for the main event.
